The house is very cute and clean and right on the water. You can easily walk to the city center as well. Piero was very nice meeting us at the train station when we arrived late, and very helpful with our check out. Strong recommend!

The apartment was beautiful! We looked out to the sea from all our windows. It had a little kitchen which we used immediately to cook an Italian meal. The simple white deco made it hard to leave the apartment. It was really a fantastic place to relax with a book. Although it was a steep hike into the town (some exercise to burn off all the good food), we actually got better ( less panting) with each climb. When we arrived, Sergio helped with our orientation in Sorrento with maps provided. Sergio was also very helpful when we asked him for restaurant and club recommendations via sms throughout our stay. The restaurants along Marina Grande were great with fresh seafood! We went to Zi'Ntonio Mare for dinner twice and had lunch at the restarant next to it. We missed out Emilia restorante because she was closed when we were there. Overall another great stay with airbnb! Some recommendations - have bigger bath towels and bathroom mats and to provide some dish washing detergent. We felt bad that we left dirty dishes in the sink after cooking.

Beautiful location and friendly welcome from Piero and Sergio and of course Carolina (of frutta fame). Perfect hosts. If you are visiting Sorrento this is the finest apartment in the only area to be. Easily walkable and busable to the main town and next to an excellent restaurant.

Dealing with Piero and Sergio was an absolute pleasure. We arrived late into Sorrento via train and Sergio was waiting for us there on his scooter. He spoke to the taxi driver for us and made sure we got to the apartment ok. As mentioned in other reviews the view and position is breath taking. Restaurants are at your doorstep and its easy to walk everywhere.

A simply beautiful and amazing location to spend some time in Sorrento, Italy! The apartment is clean, has plenty of room and as others have mentioned a step out the door and you're looking down upon / in Marina Grande. Fresh produce, the best Seafood restaurant are all within metres of the apartment. We particularly enjoyed taking some cheese, meats and a bottle or two of vino rossi out onto the path overlooking Marina Grande and watching the sun retreat for the day. For those concerned about no internet and maybe a washer, there are options readily available a 10 minute walk into Sorrento. Communication from Piero and Sergio was awesome. Highly Recommended!

Piero's place was simply stunning. Right near the Marina, with a beautiful view. It was modern, clean and well supplied. It was a bit tricky to find, especially as we had a car and had trouble finding the parking lot, but once we were there it was all worth it. I will certainly be recommending Piero's apartment!

Amazing!!! Great place to stay in Sorrento. Literally, right on the water and close to the town. Nice aC units inside. Only bummer is no wifi, but it's available in a 10 minute walk from the apt in a local park. Good water pressure in the shower. Secure. I would definitely use this company again. They were professional and friendly. Thx Sergio!!!

"Home away from home - living a day by the day"
We had a excellent experience at aurora Resort. The village of Marina Grande is nice and felt good. Tourist and natives go very well together. The apartment is hard to find, so the arrival was a bit stressing but once you we arrived all was good. We found a community parkingplace at Marina Grande, very convenient. Walking up the steps to Sorrento (via Marina Grande, pedestrians only) was easier than expected. We managed even with a babygirl in a buggy. The only thing I really pity is that the two-times promised babychair never came.

This apartment may not have all of the amenities, but its view and location definitely make up for it!!! Sean and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The best part for us was waking up, opening the window, seeing the water, hearing the seagulls and smelling the fresh salt air. Our mornings began with such a welcoming calm - we'd walk up into town, spend the days out and about and walk back home. It was a wonderful time, and we'd definitely recommend this place!

We came to Sorrento to relax after busy Roma and that exactly what we've found! The house itself is just brilliant!! Perfect place, just by the sea and a quiet beach. There are nice restaurants nearby and close walk to the city centre. We've absolutely loved it :)

Piero's house is simply amazing. There were three of us that stayed comfortably (two in one room and one in the other). The location was fantastic in Marina Grande. Although it was a short walk into the town (about 10 minutes), staying at the house felt special along with all the locals (we loved Carolina's Fruit Market just below us and Gennaro at Ristorante Taverna Azzurra). Piero was very accommodating with our arrival and departure and was available for any questions or items we needed. I highly recommend this place and look forward to having a beer with Piero next time we stay!

We stayed at Aurora Resort in the beginning of April it is a beautiful place, very clean. We were met at the train station and guided down to the house. It is a great location in quiet Marina Grande, we found the old road right outside the front door the best way to get the center of Sorrento it takes about 20 minutes to reach the train station, just be aware the first part is all uphill but after that it is not a bad walk. We had a great time staying here and having it as our home base for day excursions. We would highly recommend this place to anyone.
