Apartments on Sorrento Peninsula, Amalfi Coast
Le Capannelle is a reserved, elegant facility set in the midst of the greenery of the Mediterranean maquis on the hills overlooking the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno. Le Capannelle is the ideal choice for holidaymakers wishing to explore the Sorrento Peninsula and the Amalfi Coast, offering superbly equipped, quiet, comfortable apartments.
Guests staying at Le Capannelle can enjoy a 10 m x 5 m swimming pool (open from May, 15th to October, 15th) located on one of the natural terraces typical of the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Peninsula, which faces onto organic lemon and olive groves tended to by the owners. The comfortable wicker sofas in the shade of the pergola are the ideal place to relax and savour the unforgettable sunsets over the sea of Nerano and Sorrento. At the entrance to the villa is an exclusive parking area reserved for guests, protected by an electric gate. From the solarium terrace of the holiday house there is a fantastic view to be had: from the Amalfi Coast to the Gulf of Salerno, from the green of the Sorrento Peninsula to the blue seas of the Bay of Nerano.
Aida is a bright, classy apartment suitable for four persons. Located on the second floor of the building, around 25 steps up from the main entrance, the apartment is around 45 m2, and has air conditioning, a shared swimming pool, a shared terrace with a sea view, a shared garden and balconies with superb views. The sitting room furnishings are bright and classy, and include two armchairs and a double sofa bed. The kitchenette have four gas rings, an electric oven, a fridge freezer, a microwave oven, an Italian coffee maker and a toaster. The table seats four, and in the room there is also a satellite TV. The sitting room leads on to the terrace, equipped with tables and chairs so you can spend some time outdoors having lunch or just admiring the view. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and spacious wardrobe. You can easily reach the terrace through the window of the bedroom. The bathroom which leads off the sitting room, has a washbasin, toilet, bidet, enclosed shower and hairdryer.
Le Capannelle is about 500 metres from the centre of Sant'Agata sui due Golfi, a small village perched on the hillsides of the municipality of Massa Lubrense, between the Gulf of Naples and the Gulf of Salerno.
The village is within easy walking distance, and here you will find the SITA bus stop for services to Positano and Sorrento, as well as shops of all kinds and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Great place 5-10 minute walk into Sant agata town. If you want to get out of the crowded Sorrento town but only be a 20 min bus ride to Sorrento this place is for you. Beautiful view, great pool, comfortable apartment with all your needs. Good air con in both rooms. Only complaint I could make was the tv reception was poor for some channels. |

La Capannelle is in a great location if you want to stay somewhere very good, quiet, untouristy but within a short walking distance of some great shops and places to eat. The apartment was a good size, very clean and comfortable. The grounds and apartments are very well maintained and the pool is a good size for a swim. The views are lovely! It was very easy to book with Feeling Italy and our contact with everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. We really like La Capannelle a lot and want to return. We would have liked proper wine glasses with a stem, more chopping knives for veg & fruit & comfier chairs to sit out on the balcony. |

Piero, the most accommodating and gracious agent. Date of Stay: 5/1/2011 Our stay at Le Capannelle was the most relaxing part of our three weeks in Italy. Piero, from Feeling Italy, assured us the experience of staying in San'Agata would meet with our wholehearted approval, and he didn't disappoint us. The bus ride into town (20 min.) is short, the views are spectacular, yet San'Agata is far enough from Sorrento to retain it's genuine Italian feel (no British style Pubs) Everyone at Feeling Italy made us feel very welcome and it was evident they sincerely wanted to do anything they could to make our stay the most enjoyable they could. The next time we visit Italy we will be contacting Piero and Feeling Italy for accommodations and for their suggestions regarding the surrounding area. |
